Kiera Oke is a hybrid Makeup Artist based in the UK, Specialising in Special Effects Makeup & General Character Hair and Makeup predominately for Film & TV Productions.

Kiera has spent 6 years in various educational pathways advancing her knowledge and skill set, with her most recent academic achievement of completing her Masters Degree in Special Effects Makeup with Gorton Studios run by Neill Gorton. Kiera modernised her knowledge by learning the new industry standards of Digital scanning, sculpting and printing, to keep up to date with the fast turnaround speeds of modern productions.

Kiera creates her own prosthetics that are tailored to the productions needs, creates custom props and blood rigs, design eye catching characters and has experience in the production side of creating low budget Films, giving her a good understanding of why good organisation, communication and time keeping is important within a production.

Although Kiera is new to the industry, She has already worked as a Special Effects Coordinator, Head of Hair and Makeup and Head of Special Effects Makeup. Kiera also has her own Business premisses where she can create larger props and prosthetics for her productions and create the prosthetics she sells online via Etsy.

The most important aspect she has is her passion for her work, and the love of bringing a figment of the imagination to life with her bare hands. Making characters and creatures for the screen is the closest thing to magic we have as Makeup Artists. Kiera creates lifesized busts and sculptures in her spare time bringing characters she has seen and loved on screen to life, using anatomy, clay and passion to literally bring them into the world, creating icons such as H.P Lovecraft and Dracula.
